The history of Boudoir Photography is as old as 1900. Boudoir
Photography is a photography technique that ‘emphasize what a woman loves about
her body while playing down what she doesn’t’, says Susan Eckert, an
expert in boudoir photography. This style of photography is getting more
popularity these days and no longer limited within any special class of people.
Lot of wedding photographers are including
boudoir photography in their wedding photography packages.
There is a fine line between boudoir photography and nude
photography. Boudoir photography is more suggestive of the explicit stuffs
rather than presenting it directly. Boudoir photography is not all about nudity;
even the subject might be clothed as well. There is no rule as you must shoot
bare skin. The suggestions can be created in many creative ways.
How to do better Boudoir Photography?
Like any other photography, boudoir photography needs the
same sources and skills for improvement. By that I did NOT mean piles of money,
heaps of lens and tons of artificial light. Good Boudoir photography needs you
to pay attention to certain rules. There are some must do and some what you
must not do. Today I will discuss some of the primary things to focus on before
setting up a boudoir photography studio or arranging a shooting session.
