Homemade Halloween Decorations

We all know and love the fact that Halloween is not just
like any other holiday. Halloween brings a lot of funny and interesting movement
in our daily life. It brings colors and atmosphere of festive. People decorates
their house with spooky stuffs, wears ghost and ghoul costumes and joints
events like visiting haunted places and watching horror movies. Globally 31st
October is known as the day of Halloween. But we all know that the preparation
and decorations of Halloween starts from mid September and the festive mode
keeps going in until the middle of November. So quiet a time I say!

Besides costumes and horror parties, home decoration is the
most important part of Halloween. Home is the place for your family and friends
with whom you will enjoy the festive. Most parties are held indoors. So home
must be  nicely decorated for Halloween.

In most cases we spend the bigger portion of our festive
budget after costumes and food. You can not avoid this. But you must decorate
your home well and that must be done within a limited budget. This is where
creative thinking comes handy. Today I will discuss about some budget ways to
decorate your house from the stuffs most of which can be found within the house
hold and for free! A little budget, some creative thinking and some hours of time
that is all you need.

Looking for home decorating ideas for Halloween? Here we
have listed some. Often it is not all about money, but the fun of creating
something.

Halloween Home Decorations Tin cans

Used tin cans can be something useful for Halloween
decorations. Most importantly, it is one of those free stuffs that you will
find around your house. Take a used tin can. For example a bean can. Remove the
labels. Create tiny holes with something pointy. Then smooth the holes to avoid
accidents. Then you can color it and set a light or candle inside it. It can be
a unique piece of decoration which can be placed beside doors, porch or
anywhere.

Floating Hat for Halloween

Hats are lovely and a couple of them in a room can change
the whole atmosphere. You can guess that the hats are very easy to make and the
material is absolutely cheap. You can make it with black craft foam which is
easily available in your nearest stores in this time of the year.  After making hats, hang them in your balcony,
living room or anywhere you prefer. Use a grey colored or less noticeable
colored thread and it will appear as if they are floating. Great Halloween decoration
with such a low cost!

Floating ghost

Floating ghost is another piece of wonderful Halloween décor
that can be made with spending a few money. But it looks very eye catching.
Besides you can put all your used soda bottles to some good use. First take
some used transparent soda bottles and remove the labels. Then use something
that will act as the head of the ghost. A tennis ball can do the job. Place the
ball on the bottle. You can spray paint the ball white if you can. Use some
wires to create spreading hand shapes. Then cut some cheese cloth in to shape
and cover the whole bottle and the ball. You can use some glue so that the
cloth keeps stuck. Finally use some black paper to create shapes for eyes and
mouth of the ghost. Place it somewhere and it will appear as the ghost is
flying.

Halloween Decoration with Recycled Paper bags

Recycled paper bags look something vintage and can be used
for Halloween decoration. You can design the way you want. It will be easy to
work as it is paper. You c
a draw funny and spooky shapes and make them look like
figure. Or create some holes and place a piece of lamp inside. It will act as a
great lampshade. Also writing Halloween messages and placing them near the
stairs can be very attractive.

Using Plastic Cups

We all have those one time use plastic cups in our house.
Time to put them in to some good use. You can pain them and create interesting
figures. Draw a pair of eyes and a nose and it will look like a cute Halloween
décor. You can also put lights inside to maximize the effects. Or you can spray
some glowing paints on them and keep them some where dark so it can glow. The
cost is almost nothing here too!
