How do Clipping paths work

Clipping Path is a kind of a adjustable line or path. We use photo editing tools as Adobe Photoshop and Indesign to create clipping paths. It is used to select and cut out any object from any 2D image. Paths or lines are drawn around the object. The areas which are inside the path will be selected and all others will be eliminated. By this we can extract the object form the image. We can select the parts we want as the paths can be adjusted. Each graphic image is actually a large compilation of pixels. These lines create a boundary around the pixels we want to keep. Clipping path will determine which areas will stay visible and which parts will become transparent or invisible. Only the selected parts with the paths or lines will remain. The other parts will no longer remain in the image.

Photo editing programs like Adobe Photoshop and Indesign has the capability to create such lines.  Mostly Photoshop is used for creating clipping path. It has an excellent option called pentool which can be controlled by mouse movement. It is a quick and accurate tool to create paths.

Who will need clipping paths?

Almost anyone related to graphic design and photography industry might need clipping path. The main application of this path is when we need to remove the background of any particular image. Clipping path will cut out the object from the background. It is the best technique of removing backgrounds. Also if you want to use any new background, you will need clipping path for it. Clipping paths are also important for other editing. If you want to select any part of the image to work with, you can select it with clipping path.

that will act as the head of the ghost. A tennis ball can do the job. Place the

ball on the bottle. You can spray paint the ball white if you can. Use some

wires to create spreading hand shapes. Then cut some cheese cloth in to shape

and cover the whole bottle and the ball. You can use some glue so that the

cloth keeps stuck. Finally use some black paper to create shapes for eyes and

mouth of the ghost. Place it somewhere and it will appear as the ghost is

flying.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of justice was the most anticipated
and hyped movie of 2016 so far. By now most of you have seen the movie in full.
What do you think of it as a sequel of the previous masterpiece The Dark Knight

As I have said before that there were so many expectations
about this movie. Personally I came to know about this movie way back in 2014.
Since then social media has never gave it a rest. Constant updates about this
movie kept coming.

The first thing to mention is Ben Affleck’s debut as batman
in this movie. After Christian Bale’s fascinating performance in 3 consecutive
Batman movies, it was a challenge for Ben. But if any of you are going to the
theatre to watch a Batman movie, you may probably get upset. It is mostly, a
Superman movie.

Ben is a good actor, we all know that. But probably he has
become too matured for this character. He apparently looks a bit healthier than
it should be. Also his movements are slow. His unarmed combats are slow. Though
the fights were not awkward but still you can mark them as slow.

Photography As Modern Art

Basically art is the expression and application of human creative skill and imagination.  It is the portrayal of human thoughts and reflections of life and experience.  With the change of time the medium has changed a lot. Rather we can say that new mediums have been added. Photography is one of the new mediums to create art. I am not telling that the photography itself is something new. But the recent developments of camera, lens and other stuffs has taken photography to next level. Now even the mobile phones are providing great cameras which are easily portable. Hence the chance of creating digital art through photography is getting bigger day by day.

Recently I had to stay with one of my colleagues for a few days where we had to share a room. One day he was changing his desktop background and he used one of his captured photos. It was showing the sunset on a beach. It was a delight to watch that and I asked myself, why I shall not call it a work of art? May be not manual art, but such kind of photography is definitely a digital art.

Photography was once only a matter of flash and shoot and done. But these days the cameras have gone complex. Lot of options has been added to modify the scenario before capturing. Focus, light, angle, and there are many things that will create the difference between a great photography and an ordinary one.  A good photographer, who wants to take his photography to a higher level, will have to work these options out according to the subject and the surrounding. After taking the snap he may use some photo editing programs to make the shot even more flawless.  So he is not just making a copy of the reality. But he is recreating reality in other words! Now that is art, if we agree with the definition.
