How to Edit eCommerce Photos for your Website

How to Edit eCommerce Photos for your Website

To be honest eCommerce has been a much talked term in recent
times.  Day by day more people are
getting access to the internet. More people are showing interests in doing
business through internet, what we call ecommerce. Its easy for every one to
deal online and make their jobs done. This is why ecommerce is getting more
importance and it seems like endless.

Day by day more ecommerce websites are created. Some of them
follows what is necessary and customer friendly and therefore becomes
successful. Like amazon and ebay has taken themselves to a giant position.
Along with security and ease of use, the most important thing to attract
visitors to these ecommerce sites is the Images.
Yes, its not the sound of the car that will the customer hear. Its not the
softness of the fabrics of the dress will take the ladie’s attention. The
simple fact is, the online customers will not be able to touch the product with
their hands. The only way to get their interest is to make them look at some
photos of the product only! This is the only way. This may be called the
limitation of ecommerce. But so far it is no problem if you can present
appropriate and delightful photographs of the product. Only the quality of the
product is not enough these days. You need to make sure the photos are catching
the eyes of the probable customers. Once the photo catches the attention, it is
more likely that the customer will proceed further.

You may be a ecommerce website owner. Or a businessman who
sells his products in some ecommerce website or your own website. In any cases
you have to take shots of your product and display it along with other
information. Remember, the customer will firs check the title of the product,
then they will check the photo of course. Only then they will go to other
information.

Once you have finished taking your photos this is what to do
next.

  1. Make sure you have enough photographs. So you can select the best ones from
them. You must be selective about the photos you will upload.

  1. Once the selection is done, separate those photos. Observe them carefully.

  1. It is so likely that these photos will display dust on the product. No matter
how clean are the camera lenses are, their will be visible dust. Get rid
of them. Use Photoshop Retouching feature and that will make all the dust
    gone.

Photography As Modern Art

Photography As Modern Art

Basically art is the expression and application of human creative skill and imagination.  It is the portrayal of human thoughts and reflections of life and experience.  With the change of time the medium has changed a lot. Rather we can say that new mediums have been added. Photography is one of the new mediums to create art. I am not telling that the photography itself is something new. But the recent developments of camera, lens and other stuffs has taken photography to next level. Now even the mobile phones are providing great cameras which are easily portable. Hence the chance of creating digital art through photography is getting bigger day by day.

Recently I had to stay with one of my colleagues for a few days where we had to share a room. One day he was changing his desktop background and he used one of his captured photos. It was showing the sunset on a beach. It was a delight to watch that and I asked myself, why I shall not call it a work of art? May be not manual art, but such kind of photography is definitely a digital art.

Photography was once only a matter of flash and shoot and done. But these days the cameras have gone complex. Lot of options has been added to modify the scenario before capturing. Focus, light, angle, and there are many things that will create the difference between a great photography and an ordinary one.  A good photographer, who wants to take his photography to a higher level, will have to work these options out according to the subject and the surrounding. After taking the snap he may use some photo editing programs to make the shot even more flawless.  So he is not just making a copy of the reality. But he is recreating reality in other words! Now that is art, if we agree with the definition.
